OUTBOARD MOTOR WINTERIZING SERVICES INCLUDE

• Drain and inspect lower unit gear lube and refill with manufacturer's recommended gear lube.

• Fuel stabilizer is added to preserve both the fuel and the fuel tank for upcoming winter and spring months.

• Apply anti-corrosion grease to all fittings, linkages and steering cables.

• Inspect the throttle, steering and shift cables for binding and wear.

• Inspect the water pump housing and impeller. 

• Fog the engine block, carburetors and fuel lines.

• On all four stroke models, change oil filter and refill with manufacturer's recommended four strike oil.

STERN DRIVE WINTERIZING SERVICES INCLUDE

• Run motor and check timing and basic operations.

• Inspect throttle and shift cables for wear and binding.

• Inspect water pumps, housings and impellers.

• Inspect lower unit seals and pressure check if necessary.

• Drain water from block and manifolds and refill with marine grade anti-freeze.

• Drain oil from engine, replace oil filter, and refill with manufacturer's recommended oil.

• Replace water separator filter.

• Apply anti-corrosion grease to all out-drive fittings.

• Grease all other fittings and steering cables with marine grade grease.

• Fuel stabilizer is added to preserve both the fuel and the fuel tank for upcoming winter and spring months.

• Fog the engine block, carburetors and fuel lines.

• Check all belts, hoses and general condition of the boat motor, drive and lower unit.

Capital District Marine has over 30 years of experience in shrink wrapping. We shrink wrap all size boats up to 100 feet. We use all colors including White, Blue and Clear shrink wrap. We also provide a service truck to shrink wrap boats at outside locations within a 100 mile radius of Albany, N.Y.
